- The board of directors of Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum announces that director and chief curator Katya García-Antón will step down from her position on 15 July 2024. The museum thanks García-Antón for her work during her tenure.- It hasn't been an easy decision, but family life is taking me back to Oslo.I would like to thank the board and my colleagues at the museum for their cooperation, and I wish Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum all the best," says Katya García-Antón.Hanne Jakhelln will take over as acting director from 15 July 2024.
European premiere of Raven Chacon’s Voiceless Mass: A concert with works by Raven Chacon and Elina Waage Mikalsen
Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum, in collaboration with Arktisk Filharmoni and Bodø 2024, is proud to present a unique concert in Bodø Cathedral featuring Ravon Chacon’s Pulitzer Prize-winning composition, Voiceless Mass, as part of the exhibition, Raven Chacon: A Worm’s Eye View from a Bird’s Beak.
